EMDR for athletes
Do you train well… but freeze up in competition?
It happens to many athletes:
Everything goes well in training
Doubts arise in competition
Past mistakes come back to mind
After an injury, it's hard to trust again
It's not a lack of talent.
Sometimes the problem is that the brain is still reacting to a past experience.
With Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, we work directly on those memories to release the block.

The problem that many athletes can't explain
Maybe this has happened to you:
You fail at something simple in competition
You remember a mistake just before performing
After an injury, your mind protects itself too much
You feel anxious before competing
Many athletes describe it as:
“I know I can do it… but something is blocking me.”
With Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, we work directly on those memories to release the block.
What is EMDR
When we go through an intense experience (injury, major mistake, tough competition), the brain can store it with too much emotional charge.
Then, in similar situations, the nervous system gets triggered again.
Aunque racionalmente sepas que puedes hacerlo.
This is where Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing comes in, developed by Francine Shapiro.
This therapy allows the brain to reprocess those experiences so they no longer interfere with performance.
What changes when the block disappears
Many athletes experience:
✔ menos ansiedad antes de competir
✔ más confianza en momentos clave
✔ mayor claridad mental
✔ sensación de “volver a competir libre”
The goal is not to change your technique.
It is releasing what is holding you back mentally.
How we work
1️⃣ We identify the moment that caused the block
2️⃣ Lo trabajamos con Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing
3️⃣ We integrate the change so it shows up in training and competition
