Aunque tal y como refiere la Organizaci\u00f3n Mundial de la Salud (OMS), el 13% de la poblaci\u00f3n mundial experimentar\u00e1 alg\u00fan tipo de trastorno mental a lo largo de su vida, las demandas del alto rendimiento pueden hacer que los atletas tengan un mayor riesgo de desarrollar problemas psicol\u00f3gicos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left has-medium-font-size\">El Comit\u00e9 Ol\u00edmpico Internacional (COI) en 2021 hizo referencia a un meta an\u00e1lisis que conclu\u00eda como m\u00e1s del 30% de los <strong>deportistas de \u00e9lite<\/strong>\u00a0hab\u00edan experimentado\u00a0<strong>ansiedad<\/strong>\u00a0o\u00a0<strong>depresi\u00f3n<\/strong>, y cerca del 50% de los atletas ol\u00edmpicos reportaron <strong>problemas de sue\u00f1o<\/strong>.
